A HAPPY HAVEN FOR ORPHAN BOYS: PICTURES TAKEN RECENTLY AT FRANCE HOME, NAPIER

The present France Home at Eskdale, Napier, for boys aged 11 to 17, was opened by Lord Bledisloe in 1933, It stands in 50 acres of ground, part of which is taken up by a farm where senior boys spend 12 months gaining elementary training.
