Autobiography of a NZ farmer whose life began on Forsyth Island in the Marlborough Sounds, spent a lot of his childhood and teenage years in the Blenheim area and who ended up farming at Waiwhare, on the Napier-Taihape Rd west of Hastings. Well-written reminiscences of pioneer days, farming and experiences in the wartime army. A very interesting insight into Blenheim life in the 1920s and 30s.
