Biography
3 sisters up to 20 years older, one brother (Richard, known as Dick) 10 years older, one younger sister.
Arrived in Wellington 2 June 1906, aged 19 years, on “SS Turakina”. Went to Napier, worked on farm at at Blackburn, Wakarara. Taught at Anaroa School from late 1906 for 18 months, then went to Wimbledon School.
