Biography
Grew up in Takapau, came to Napier 1945, lived most of his life in Hawke’s Bay
Trained as an accountant and for a few years was employed by several firms
Set up a partnership with Paddy Sutherland 9 April 1956 – Oldershaw & Sullivan; business still in existence 2018 as Oldershaw & Co.
Lived in Riverbend Road, Cobden Road, Fitzroy Road, Napier; later Greenmeadows then Cambridge
Instrumental in the early years of many sports organisations – Napier High School Old Boys’ Rugby Club, Hawke’s Bay Rugby Union, Hawke’s Bay Lawn Tennis Club, Hawke’s Bay Squash Racquets Club, Maraenui Golf Club, and others
