From Colin Blakesley –
“I had a St Joseph’s school friend named Coloman Bolgar who lived with his family as tenants in Stoneycroft during the early 1950s.
Coloman’s family were refugees from Hungary.
He had a sister named Carla, but I don’t recall if Mr Bolgar was employed on the land.
I recall visiting him at Stoneycroft and Coloman’s bedroom was the scullery.  He also had a big model railway (a “Marklin”) from Germany.
He was later killed in a helicopter accident in the South Island.”
