‘Launching the North Island stonefruit advertising campaign in December, 1979; from left: Kim Wicksteed and Alf Nelson from Wood and Mitchell Advertising Ltd., with Robin Osborne, chairman of the stonefruit committee of the HBFA. A budget of $25,000 was spent on five weeks of television commercials, eight weeks of radio advertising, and promotional posters.
