“Mr Wong will present a major advertising campaign for ‘Market Fresh’ apples this season.
Wong Chim Boon (“CB” for short) is a Singaporean experienced in fruit marketing who loves New Zealand’s export apples.
The Apple & Pear Board invited “CB” here to show him how we care for our produce every step of the way from tree to market.
Mr Wong was amazed at the scale of operation we have in New Zealand and delighted to discover that ‘Market Fresh’ apples available here taste just as good as (if not better than) New Zealand’s ‘export’ apples so popular in Singapore.
He’ll be telling New Zealanders all about ‘Market Fresh’ apples (pears too) in eight television commercials, on radio, in magazines, and on our new merchandising display stands and display material designed especially for your store.
