Description

Photo 1 – My Haines Hunter V198. Wonderful boat for the lake with its short chop, handled the rough water well. The weather change can come very quickly and when someone sees a black line on the horizon you head for home. I bought this boat about 1990 and took it to Kinloch, so it was only used in freshwater. Powered by 150hp Mercury motor and a 15hp used while fishing. Great fun for skiing and pulling a rubber biscuit around for the children in their earlier years. Sold it as it was getting too heavy to load and unload – it did not have rollers but skids on the trailer. Many long hours and enjoyment over more than fifteen years.

Photo 3 – Very sleek in the water, tied up at the Marina in Kinloch
