Description

From Auckland Weekly News 26 June 1924 –

” “MAN-POWER” SUCCEEDS WHERE “HORSE POWER” FAILED.
Over twenty men employed in dragging a motor-car through the shingle deposited on the Napier-Petane Road during the recent storm.”
