‘Making cases by hand: Herbert Wilson (left) with two helpers (unknown) making stonefruit boxes at Frimley Orchard, circa 1916. He was a freezing worker at Tomoana, and topped up his income with work at Frimley and Horton’s nurseries after hours. Herbert went on to buy 60 acres from the Ormond Estate in 1919 in what is now Wilson Rd.
