1916-1931 it was the original site of National Bank and Karamu Chambers.
The building between Stanton’s and Coffey Davidson, 116 Karamu Road North, Hastings, is the original site of Hawke’s Bay Meat Company Limited, reconstructed from the fire damage during the 1931 earthquake; Art Deco style.
