Description

The cottage was originally single men’s quarters – it was converted to a cottage by Fred Ward in the early 1970s. The first residents were Colin and Rosemary Shenton, followed by Ian and Diane Thompson. David and Linda Ward lived there from 1976 to 1985, at which time they swapped houses with Fred and Lorna Ward. Andrew and Cathy Ward lived there after their marriage in 1993, followed by Dave and Amanda Cheetham, Vicki Howie and family after they lost their home at Otamauri to fire, and finally Suzanne (Ward) and Campbell Bremner who still reside there today.
