Dear Boy
Just a scene from the old Ormlie days, suppose you know it: Glad I had written to Fred before receiving your letter for I had not the least idea of not corresponding now to them. Cecil is off to Camp to-morrow, I wrote & asked Jan to come over the day he went. to camp. So she wrote & said she would. We are going to take her to Havelock for the day & try & get her to stay the night with us. We have been having some lovely rain the last few days, it will make the gardens come on decent. Pete has got 36 chicks out of four sitting so he doing alright. Jean is as bonnie as ever. Fondest love from Jean and myself. Nellie
Nellie is Ellen Dinah Manley, Jean is her daughter (born May 1916)
