Farrelly’s footwear store; Sacred Heart Church spire in distance
Photo caption – “It is thought this picture was taken at the the time of national fire brigade competitions held at Hastings in the early 1900’s. On the far side of Farrelly’s footwear store was the Salvation Army Hall. Protestant Hall Established 1881. Wooden building alongside was the Hastings Borough Council Office. This site is now occupied by the Municipal Block.”
