Ford V8 Fire Engine

1942 Ford V8 fitted with Colonial Motor Co. Ltd Pump 400 G.P.M. Rear mounted. Body built by Standard Motor Bodies Ltd. This was the first New Zealand built fully enclosed appliance. In service Hastings 1943-56, Havelock North 1956-75. Handed over to M.O.T.A.T. December 1975.
