Description

Edward Jasper Herrick, 1878-1971, married Ethne Rose Smith in 1909. Ethne was Thomas Tanner’s grand-daughter.
In 1912 they bought Lindisfarne from Ethne’s father, Harry Smith.
In 1951 they sold Lindisfarne to the Presbyterian Church for a boys’ school.
Mr Herrick was chairman of directors for Williams and Kettle from 1938 to 1958.
