Sunday 28 Nov [November], 1915
Dear Clare, Just a p.c. [postcard] to say that we are leaving here on Wed. 1st Dec [Wednesday 1 December]. We are going to Rangiotu, near P.N. [Palmerston North] so don’t forget when you write next. We have had a decent day today, the best we have had so far. There was a great crowd of visitors in camp today, as it is our last Sunday here. I was in Wellington last night & [and] met D Priest & we had a good time together. He gets leave on the 10th Dec., so I mightn’t see him again for a while. How are things at Havelock, I suppose you are still working for the curate[?] & his mother. I will write in a day or two. I am too sleepy tonight. Your Aff. bro. [Affectionate brother] – Stan
