IPENZ RECOGNISES THIS ENGINEERING WORK AS AN IMPORTANT PART OF N.Z.’S ENGINEERING HERITAGE.
A TRIBUTE TO ENGINEERING RESOURCE AND ENTERPRISE, IT IS PROBABLY THE OLDEST OPERATIONAL STATION IN THE WORLD
