Description
From Napier Centennial newspaper supplement, 1974 – “A century ago a view from the hills overlooking what is now Napier’s pride and joy – Marine Parade – looked something like this. Colonial cottages, crude wooden buildings were clustered together, with here and there just a hint of more ambitious development yet to come.”
