Dear Chrissie Stan & [and] Merle
Just a P.C. [postcard] hoping it will find you all well by this time. We have arrived this far and am having a real good time, although the weather is not all it could be, but this morning looks nice & fine. We went into Hastings by train yesterday and a friend drove us all round Havelock hills it was simply lovely, but I have an awful sun burnt face. We have another week here & then I think we are going to have a couple of nights in Hastings & Dannevirke before arriving home. So with best New Year wishes I will close with best love from Auntie Gertie xxx
