Renamed Victoria Square to commemorate Queen Victoria’s diamond jubilee
Band rotunda officially opened 30 June 1909
Rush and James designed the Arabian style rotunda
Builder – JW Monk; Tonkin Eddy and Company, sole agents for Luke and Company, Wellington ironmongers
James Collins presented seats and the Hastings Borough Council laid the concrete paths.
