Architects – Harold G Davies and Eric Phillips
Modern style with corner “drum” or low tower; Deco-influenced shallow vertical fluting; window joinery is metal
Originally the building was in grey stucco.
Angled parking
Originally Roach’s Department Store in 1931
Renamed Westpoint Plaza in 1981 
In 2015 the corner store is occupied by the Taranaki Savings Bank (TSB) and the rest is occupied by The Farmers Trading Company Limited.
