Description

The cottage was originally built for Felix and Josephine Ward as access to their farm at Willowford was difficult. It was sold by McPhails to the New Zealand Forest Service and there were plans to build the camp there. Fred Ward bought the land off the Forest Service. Many people have lived there over the years and it has been privately owned from 2010 onwards.
