AKUIRA, Huia (Mare Mare Eria)
Died suddenly, at her daughter’s residence, Masterton, beloved wife of the late James Hauaru Akuira, and beloved mother and mother-in-law of Lil and Dave Lewis, Owen and Doris Akuira, Margaret and Jim Gilbert, Beverly and Tamiri Waipuka, Lou and Toby Matenga, Roberta and Andrew Paku (all of Masteron), Celina and Allan Carlson (Tokoroa), Pet and Alf Peakman (Hastings), and the late Ivan Akuira, loved grandmother and great-grandmother of her many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
