Dear Myrtle,
I have also drop you a line and hope you are quite well. I have sent you a P.C. [postcard] of the Main St of Hastings.
Your card and Eileen’s is the one street from top to bottom. I do miss the children and Mrs Harris now they have gone back home but do you think there is a chance of you coming up for a holiday now I would like you both to try and do your best and get on the right side of your Mum or Dad to let you and Eileen come to-gether when you have your holidays or both still to come at Xmas [Christmas] time don’t let the reply be nothing else but (yes we are coming).
