Born Hastings, 14 April 1926, daughter of Cecil Govett Romaine Wright and Jessie Amelia (Née Jackson); married Neil Dudley Anderson qv, son of Eric and Evelyn Anderson, 1951; two sons.
Education: Queenswood School, Hastings; Woodford House; Otago University, Bachelor of Science 1947; Diploma of Medical Technology, 1950; Victoria University, Bachelor of Arts 1984.
Science teacher, Marsden School, Wellington 1947; Medical technician training, Napier Hospital, 1948 – 1950; Teacher: Hastings Girls High School, Queen Margaret’s College, Wellington 1960s; Laboratory work; Auckland 1968, Wellington Hospital 1972 – 1978.
Literary Fund Grant, 1988.
Publications: I Think We Should Go Into The Jungle (short stories), 1989; Girls High (novel), 1990.
Recreations: theatre, reading, walking, swimming.
