Annual Report 1980-81 Club Service Committee

HASTINGS ROTARY CLUB

REPORT OF CLUB SERVICE COMMITTEE 1980/81

Being the largest club committee, with the majority of members having regular weekly responsibilities, fire side meetings often took second place.

Willingness to assist each other with the daily running of the club made for good fellowship and understanding.

Our efforts to maintain membership resulted in a par, even though nine new members were inducted.

Once again Max has produced an excellent newsletter, his time and effort is very much appreciated.

Meeting programmes were varied and interesting.

Thanks must go to Peter Young for his untiring efforts, not only the fine speakers but the time he spent in hosting them.

Fantasyland was fun for young and old even though it got a bit chilly, family participation was good for all.

Our Song Leaders endeavours to make choristers out of us, along with the Sgts extractions all added to club involvement.

We were a happy, willing committee pleased to do our bit in running the club. We wish to record our appreciation to President Jack for his leadership.
