BATEMAN, Brian Roland.
Regt. No. 9921, Royal New Zealand Navy, World War 2.
On Thursday, October 23, 1997 at Napier Hospital.
Loved father and father-in-law of Raewyn and Mervyn, Anne Curtin, Lisa and Michelle Bateman and loved Grandad of Dion, Troy and Tessa Curtin and Jalisa Bateman also loved brother of Marjorie, Eunice, Joyce, Wally and the late Mervyn, Thelma, Raymond and Shirley.
Aged 71 years.
Our sincere and heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff of Rodney Francis Ward, Napier Hospital for the loving care and support extended to Brian during his illness.
No flowers by request.
In lieu of floral tributes, donations to the Cancer Society of N.Z. at the service or posted to P O Box 1014, Hastings would be gratefully received.

The funeral service for Brian will be held at the Hawke’s Bay Crematorium Chapel, Orchard Road, Hastings on Wednesday, October 29, 1997 at 2pm.
