Born Dargaville, 25 February 1925, daughter of Sir (Thomas) Clifton Webb, KCMG and Lucy Amelia (née Nairn).  Married (1) Kenneth John Hall, son of Agnes and Leo Hall, 1946 (diss 1965); (2) Thomas Belshaw, son of Samuel and Bridget Belshaw, 1974; two sons.
Education: Remuera School; St Cuthbert’s College; Auckland University; University of London, Diploma Science 1965, Diploma Teaching 1966; NZ Correspondence, Diploma Teaching, 1975.
