BRODIE, Marie Alice nee Scott, Artist.
Born Gisborne 19 July 1919. Married 1947 Charles Carson Brodie; two children – Caroline Elizabeth Bonny (b 1950), Dianna Margaret Fraser (b 1958).
Educated Gisborne High School 1933-35; Iona College, Havelock North 1936-37.
Secretary/treasurer Gisborne branch, NZ Founders’ Society Inc, past secretary/treasurer Royal Overseas League Gisborne branch.
Exhibitions include Shell Art Award 1988, Tauranga Art Award 1990.
Inaugural committee member Antique Society.
Military service in WAAF 1942-45.
Leisure activities include painting, genealogy, travel, bridge, photography, family, antiques.
Address Copper Beech Cottage, 67 Stout Street, Gisborne.
