BROWN, Joseph Te Otene.
In loving memory of my dealy [dearly] respected Dad and our treasured precious Papa Joe who passed away suddenly one year ago today at home.
No longer in our lives but forever in our thoughts and hearts.
Time is long for us that grieve but you dwell where there is no sorrow, free from grief and pain…
Takoto mai i runga te rangimarie o te Karoiti me te Kaihanga,

BROWN, Joseph Te Otene.
To our dearly beloved father, who passed away a year ago today.
A time of great sadness for us all, you left us in a way that was so sudden and so soon.
A father, a friend, a mentor, our Rangatira.
An honourable soul.
I hear your whispers of wisdom in my times of doubt,
Your wairua papa, is forever in the time of day and night, and lights up all darkness.
You shine in the sun
You twinkle in the stars
You smile in the rain
And dance in the wind
You breathe through Papatuanuku
You share with Ranginui
You are forever with us, in our hearts and in our souls.
A great loss and yet a power of strength in all which prevails.
Moe nai i roto i Te Ariki
Arohanui, Gerard and Maree Brown-Blokker.
I will meet you today, dad, and together we will chase that Melbourne Cup winner past the post!
