1997   Since 1982 I have been under contract to the New Zealand Sheep Dog Trial Association of N.Z. (Inc).

Position Held:   New Zealand Secretary

Duties include:   Liaison with 172 Clubs and 13 Centres.
Responsible for all matters financial, including Investment and Sponsorship Policy.
Producer of Annual Trial Dates Fixtures and Judges List Booklet.
Producer of Annual Statement of Accounts for Audit.
Responsible for overseeing Stud Register and Newsletter publication and all matters prior to and following New Zealand Annual General Meeting.
Implementation and updating of Constitutional Policy.

This appointment was made at the company’s request to resolve some difficulties they were experiencing in a particular area of their operations.

1988 – 1990:   Contracted to Paramount Exports.

Duties included:   Drawing up of contracts of supply for Squash.
Fruit and Asparagus export to Japan.
Raspberries to North America.
Stone Fruit to Australia.
Supervision of growing – management – harvesting and packhouse quality control.
Responsible for finalising payments and production of completed contract details for management.

1980 – 1987:   Federated Farmers of New Zealand (Inc).

Position Held:   Hawkes Bay Provincial District – Executive Secretary.

Duties Included:   Responsible to Provincial Executive and its derivatives.
Promotion of A – Political farming interests at local and national level.
