Educated Brighton Secondary Technical School; Karamu High School, Hastings; Victoria University of Wellington 1967-71 – BA (Hons); Massey University 1977, 1991.
Self-employed consultant, World Bank; formerly MP for Hastings 1978-90, Minister of Commerce 1988-90, Energy 1987-90, Associate Minister of Finance 1987-88, Minister of Regional Development 1987-89.
Council member Hawke’s Bay Community College 1977-84, member Hawke’s Bay Regional Developmental Council 1980-84.
Awarded 1990 Commemorative Medal.
Leisure activities include films, video, music, jogging, tramping, reading, travel.
Address 409 Collinge Road, Hastings.
