Mr. Poppelwell then read out a summary of the Budget that he prepared. Explaining that the income for the first quarter should be $1,151.00, of which $489.00 was still in arrears. So far for the first quarter 25 members have paid, 22 members are still to pay. After considerable discussion it was moved Page, seconded Reid, that all accounts Outstanding for first Quarter be paid in full. Motion carried.

It was then suggested that a list of unpaid levies be prepared, and that the in-coming committee make approaches to these retailers explaining the present position. It was also felt that the present system of paying levies per quarter was not satisfactory. It was then moved Mr. Page, seconded Mr. Reid, that in future, accounts be sent out prior to all promotions covering the cost of the forthcoming promotion, provided that retailers are advised well in advance. The motion was carried.
