To Francis Logan   Barrister and Solicitor   Greeting

We do hereby in pursuance and by virtue of Title D, Canon I, of the Church of the Province of New Zealand commonly called the Church of England appoint you Francis Logan to be the Chancellor of our Diocese to preside when occasion may require in our Diocesan Court, and we do give grant and confirm unto you the said Francis Logan to be the Chancellor of our Diocese to preside when occasion may require in our Diocesan Court and we do give grant and confirm unto you the said Francis Logan for us and our successors a general power and special authority to do and exercise and execute all and singular the matters and things which belong to the office of Chancellor of our said Diocese. Provided that nothing herein contained shall be construed to deprive us of our right of acting in the premises whenever we shall think proper so to do.

In Witness whereof we have hereto set our hand and seal this day of October in the year One thousand nine hundred and two and in the Eighth year of our Consecration –
