Coddington, Russell James Death Notice 2021

CODDINGTON, Russell James.
Retired Chief Traffic Instructor – Ministry of Transport
Passed away peacefully with Steve by his side, on Tuesday 23rd February 2021.
Aged 93 years.
Husband of the late Joan.
Loved father and father-in-law of Steve and Bernadine and Debbie and Ross.
Dearly loved grandad of Jon, Emma, Abby and Jamie and Nic (deceased), Toyah and Zeus.
Great grandad of Kate, Poppy, Tommy, Oscar and Jasper.
Russell spent his life (apart from a brief spell) in Hawkes Bay and only recently moved to Lower Hutt to be closer to family.
Family wish to acknowledge the care and support provided by staff at Shona McFarlane Rest-home and the wonderful nurses, doctors, and MDT the on Orthopaedic Ward, Hutt Hospital.
In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimers NZ would be appreciated and may be left at the service or posted to PO Box 30-817, Lower Hutt.
A Service for Russell will be held in Cornwall Manor, Cnr Knights Rd & Cornwall St, Lower Hutt on Monday 1st March 2021, at 10am and thereafter cremation at the Akatarawa crematorium.
