Born Hastings 21 August 1940. Tribal affiliations Ngati Kahungunu.
Educated Hato Paora College, Feilding. Tumau, Maori Studies Department, Victoria University of Wellington.
Manager and cultural director National Maori Brass Band. Co-composer ‘Te Hokinga Mai’ written for return of Te Maori artefacts.
Leisure activities include ten pin bowling, composing music.
Address 348 Queens Drive, Lyall Bay, Wellington.
