Assistant teacher Timaru Boys’ High School 1924; Dannevirke High School  1925-30; Hastings High School 1930-54 (1st assistant 1949-54); rector Palmerston North Boys’ High School 1954-63.
Recreation: managing football, cricket, tramping activities, bowling
