Educated Dannevirke High School; Victoria University College, Wellington 1941-43, 1946 – LLM (Hons) (NZ) 1947.
Formerly assistant to Wellington city solicitor; partner, senior partner Park, Cullinane and Partners 1951-76; barrister Palmerston North 1978-83; appointed to District Court Board 1983; chairman Public Service Appeal Board 1983-86, chairman Wellington District Licensing Committee 1986-90. Council member, vice-president 1975-76 Manawatu District Law Society; chairman Horowhenua Scholarship Trustees.
Leisure activities include distance running, tennis.
Address Sudbury, 720 High Street, Lower Hutt.
