Dear Sir,

With the festive season approaching, I wish to take this opportunity of advising you of the facilities that my hotel – beautifully appointed and comfortable, with excellent service from my staff – has to offer.

House Bar Lounge

With seating for approximately 40 persons, ample standing room, and french doors leading to spacious outside courtyard overlooking the pool, this Lounge is ideal for cocktail parties or other pre-dinner functions, and fashion shows, and has the use of the House Bar facility.

Conference Room

The Conference-Function Room has its own private bar facility and can accommodate up to 70 persons at a Smorgasbord meal, or 60 at a sit-down meal.  Room hire is $10, and the Room is available from Monday to Friday.

Omahu Lounge

The Omahu Lounge is available Monday to Thursday, and Friday mornings, and has its own bar, a stage, dance floor, and can accommodate approximately 220 persons at a Smorgasbord, and up to 140 for a sit-down meal.  The room hire is $20.

Naturally, if the function is a lecture or theatre-type meeting only (no food) we can accommodate many more people in both the Conference Room and the Omahu Lounge.

Suite

We have a Suite consisting of sitting room and twin-bedroom with bathroom and kitchen facilities, and this is ideal for Display purposes, small meetings or parties of up to 12 persons.

You will appreciate that these facilities should be booked well in advance of the required date to gain maximum advantage of the services we have to offer.

Pioneer Restaurant

The Pioneer Restaurant with its elegant decor and comfortable and spacious seating offers luncheon and dining facilities of the highest standard.

At present, Luncheons are Table d‘Hote at $3.50 Monday to Saturday (with possible change to Smorgasbord as the weather becomes Warmer); and Dining, Table d’Hote at $5.50 Monday to Fridays from 6.30 p.m., with an A la Carte menu on Saturday evenings.

The Nola Atkins Trio provide a grand background for dining and dancing in the Pioneer Restaurant on Friday and Saturday evenings; whilst for sheer entertainment, the Zenith play in the Omahu Lounge.
