Born London, England 10 June 1911. Married 1936 Sheila Margaret Graham; three children – Margaret Jane, Graham William, Sarah.
Educated Wanganui Collegiate School.
Worked on farms 1929-33, manager freezing works 1944-48, branch manager mercantile firm Hawke’s Bay 1948-52, general manager NZ Meat Producer’s Board 1952-66, general manager Meat Export Development Co NZ Ltd 1966-69.
Member Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club.
Leisure activities include gardening and fishing.
Address 47 Shepherd Road, Taupo.
