DEBENTURES

The acceptance of the plans and specifications of the Club additions will be welcome news for all members and I am pleased to be able to advise that by the time you receive this circular, Mr. P.J. Bridgeman will have commenced the preliminary work.

It is no surprise that because of cost increases the tender of $45,000 has exceeded the original estimate by $5,000 and it is your Committee’s intention to make minor economies which will not affect the overall conception.

Already $32,585 has been promised by way of debentures and we are confident that now that the job is “on”, we can look to our members to support us for the full requirement.

To be in a position to meet our commitments, we now appeal to those members who have so willingly backed our project and to those whom we know who have every intention of doing so, to forward your contributions by 31st August, 1970, to:-
