Artist
Born Hastings, 21 March 1930, son of Alan Driver and Hilda (née Sinclair); married Joyce Dodd, daughter of Richard and Winifred Dodd, 1958; one daughter.
Education: Napier Primary School; Napier Boys High School; New Plymouth Boys High School; New  Plymouth Tech.
Dental Technician, 1946-1961; Paint, Paper, Interior Decor Consultant, 1961-1969; Art Gallery Technician, 1969 -; Painter & Sculptor, 1950 -; Founding Member ‘Group 60’; 40 one-man exhibits Australia & New Zealand; participant in 65 group shows, NZ, Melbourne, Sydney, Tokyo, Dusseldorf.  Benson & Hedges Painting Prize 1972; Hansells Sculpture Prize 1974; QEII Arts Council Awards; BP Art Award 1987.
Works include: New Plymouth Airport Mural, sculpture for Auckland University Medical School, wall hanging for Arch School; works included in numerous public gallery and private collections in NZ.
Recreations: reading, films.
