Former Member of Parliament.
Born Napier 9 October 1923. Married 1951 Dorothy Alice Ferrier; five children – Paul Anthony John, Mark Robert, Judith Anne, Gillian Kaye, Rob Gordon.
Educated Hastings High School.
Deputy Chairman Earthquake and War Damage Commission 1979-87; formerly journalist, real estate agent; FRIEND.
Publications include Sinners at the Stadium, fly fishing columnist, radio community comment from 1980.
Senator Jaycee International, organiser Hawke’s Bay Hospice regional project 1981-82.
Awarded 1990 Commemorative Medal.
Leisure activities include angling, spectator sports.
Address 1011 Konini Street, Hastings.
