Born Hastings, 19 June 1922, son of Robert Charles Forster and Winifred M (née Forrest); married Lyndsay McLaren Clifford (see Forster, Lyn(dsay) McLaren), daughter of May and Arthur Clifford, 1948; two sons two daughters.
