Born Gisborne 27 October 1929. Married Joan Collins; two children – Andrew Rowland (b […]), Nathan Thomas (b […]).
Educated Hastings High School; Victoria University College – Master of Arts 1957.
Employed in Parliamentary Library and a variety of publishing posts with Department of Internal Affairs 1953-73 including writing over 400 articles for An Encyclopaedia of NZ 1961-66, freelance writer and actor 1974-.
Active in acting and management with Wellington Repertory Theatre Inc 1962-, editor for many years, former vice-president, life member 1989, author of a number of plays, Taihoa Taihape – Washday at the Pa (one act musical for Wellington Repertory, 1965), drama researcher TVNZ 1983-85.
Leisure activities include theatre, reading, writing, films.
Address 33 Havelock Street, Mornington, Wellington.
