I have the pleasure to inform you that you have been awarded the French Legion of Honour by the President of the French Republic for your actions during the war .
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you for this well-deserved decoration.
As I am planning on visiting Hawke’s Bay around the month of October- November, I am considering organizing on that occasion an award ceremony for several Veterans.
