We wish to advise you that entrants in the Gentle Annie Mountainbike adventure ride will be cycling from Pukeokahu School via Otupae Station and Kuripapango to the Waiwhare Community Centre on River Road on Sunday 28th January.

The riders will leave Pukeokahu School in two groups, one at 0745, and the other at 0900 and are expected to arrive at Waiwhare by 4 p.m.  This time is dependent on weather conditions on the day and may well change depending on the direction and strength of the wind.

There will also be a number of support vehicles, and the rider’s own transport coming from Taihape on the Napier-Taihape Road over the same time period.

If you wish to ask for assistance for someone with a problem with their bike or themselves we have radio communication over the course with bases at Waiwhare, Kuripapango, the junction of Mangaohane Road and the Napier/Taihape Road, Otupae Station on Matawhero Road, and Pukeokahu School.  We also have first response units on the route to provide first aid as required.
