1    Miles Greenwood Baker of the Parish of St Peter of Mancroft, City of Norwich was living a few years after 1603 at Sudbury but returned to Norwich 1616
= [married] Anne, dau [daughter] of …. Seath of Barnham Burne co Norfolk.  Married 21st Oct. 1599 at St Peters of M, Norwich.  Living in 1616

2    Miles, baptisd [baptised] at St P of M, Norwich, 1 Sept 1600.  This is the same Miles who in the Pedigrees found among the Miscell Reliques of Sir Isaac Heard, is said to have come very young from Yorkshire and whose Arms are there given as above, taken from his seal.  Apprenticed for 8 years 20th June 1618 with Josiah Robbs, worsted weaver of Norwich, admitted Citizen May 3 1627.  According to tradition he was a weaver and zealous adherent of the Parliamentary party.  Buried in the Church of St Michael at Pleas 3rd Sept. 1638.
= Abigail…. administered to husbands Estate granted at London 23 Dec 1658.

3   Miles, baptd [baptised] at St Stephens, 9 Sept 1627 as Milly, son of Millys. (B[…] widow of Alderman John Greenwood (died 1649) in her will of 1674 calls him “her husband’s kinsman”).  By tradition he was a Chaplain and Lieut. Under Cromwell.  In his will he calls himself “the elder, worsted weaver”.  He was bur’d at St Peters at Hungate, Norwich as Michael Greenwood 23 April 1681.  He had a son Miles or Michael bapt at St Michael-at-Pleas, also John, Abigail, Ann, Benjn & Saml.

m ….Peapes, and had John, Isaac, Mary and Ann.

3   Nathaniel, bapt at St M at P 21 Aug. 1631 and was in Boston N.E, as a shipwright, 1654 and had his yard at the North end, where he purchased property.
Marr. At Weymouth N.E. 24 Jan 1655/6.  Water Bayliff 1670-72. N Selectman 1680-84.  Died July 31 1684 buried at Copps Hill Boston.  On the wall are cut the same Arms as borne by his Father.  His will mentioned his brother Samuel and his cousin Benjamin Greenwood (ie Nephew) an Apprentice.
= Mary dau of Saml and Ann Allen of Braintree N.E.  She mar’d [married] 2nd, June 12 1690 Theophilus Farye Esq of Boston as his 2nd wife and died his widow 7 Dec 1709.

4    Myles b. 23 May 1660 in Boston died young.

4   Samuel b [born] 24 Sept 1662.  Shipwright & merchant of Boston and a prominent citizen.  Died 16 July 1721. bur’d [buried] at Copps Hill.  Selectman 1715-18
= (1) Elizabeth Bronsdon. About 1670. dau of Robert B (Brinsdon or Brinsdell) merc’t [merchant] of Boston died 9 Dec 1721 at 51.

5   Elizabeth, born 18 Oct died Nov 2, 1687.

5   Samuel, b 15 Aug 1690.  Ship builder & merch’t of Boston.  Capt [Captain] in Militia and Lieut [Lieutenant] in Anc’t & Hon Artillery.  Died 22 Feb 1741/2.  He was Overseer of the Poor 1728-37
= Mary, prob a dau of Benj. Fitch, Boston, mar 8 Aug. 1717.  died 21 July 1724 at 27.

6   Mary b 31 Oct 1718.  D an inf’t [infant].

6   Samuel b 18 May 1720.  Harvard Coll. 1739 priv Sec’y [private secretary] to Gov [Governor]  Belcher of Mass [Massachusetts]. Living in 1747.  Nothing further known.
