Hakiwai, Ara In Memoriam Notice 1998

HAKIWAI, Ara.
The stone above your grave reads:
If ever two were one, then we
If ever man was loved by wife, then thee
And that was so true.
When you first left, the pull to join you was unbearable.
But your love has continued to shine on me and it has faded the pain from black to light grey – it has lifted the fog and let me see that the future can still be sunshine and roses.
Love you, Johan.
P.S. Look after Whitenose.
